The Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) was established in 1923, presently regulated by Trade Organization Ordinance 2007. One of the main purposes of The Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry is to serve the local business industry and   protect their interests by proposing policies to the Government amongst others. It acts as liaison between the State and the business enterprises for the purpose to spur the economic activity necessary for the development of Pakistan. In doing so it cooperates with small and medium business enterprises to grow in their respective domain and sector. LLCI establishes relationship with business tycoons, trade associations, domestic and international chambers, government and foreign delegates to accomplish its objectives of business and economic growth. The Chamber also assists in Business Networking, business expos, Training sessions, and international trade events for purpose of economic development in Pakistan. Classes of Membership

There are two classes of memberships in almost every Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

  • Corporate Class
  • Associate Member

Corporate Class

Is a class of membership of Chamber of Commerce and Industry for a body corporate or a multinational corporation with its head office or branch office in Pakistan or an entity having the annual turnover of Rs. 50 million or above.

Associate Member

Is a class of membership of Chamber of Commerce and Industry for a body corporate or a multinational entity or a sales tax registered business concern having the annual turnover uptil Rs. 50 million or below.

Membership Procedure for Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI)

Eligibility for Membership

  • The applicant applying for membership must be an entity i.e sole proprietorship, partnership firm, an association of persons or a company.
  • Entity must hold a valid NTN and Sales Tax Registration, if applicable, in name of business concern.
  • The applicant’s business fits within the defined business scope or area of jurisdiction of District of Lahore.
  • Application must be proposed and seconded by existing members of LCCI.
  • The applicant applying for membership must have no criminal conviction.

Membership Procedure

  • Fill the prescribed Membership Form
  • The Membership Form must be proposed and seconded by the two existing members.
  • Attach requisite documents
  • Pay Order or cash payment (requisite Fee) shall be made at the cash counter of Registration Office of Lahore Chamber of Commerce.

Documents Required

Following is the list of documents required for Membership Registration

Documents Required for Sole Proprietorship
  • Request letter by proposed member on Business letterhead to the Secretary General Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) for grant of Registration LCCI membership.
  • Complete LCCI membership form proposed and seconded by atleast 2 existing members.
  • Photocopy of Identity Card of Proposed member
  • Photocopy of NTN certificate of proprietorship Business.
  • Photocopy of STRN certificate (if applicable).
  • Photocopy of Electricity Bill of Business Premises
  • Original bank maintenance certificate in the name of Proprietorship business.
Documents Required For Partnership Firm
  • Request by proposed member on Firm letterhead to the Secretary General Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) for grant of LCCI membership.
  • Complete LCCI membership form proposed and seconded by atleast 2 existing members.
  • Form C
  • Partnership Deed
  • Photocopy of Identity Card Partners/ Proposed members.
  • Photocopy of NTN certificate of Partnership Firm.
  • Photocopy of STRN certificate (if applicable).
  • Photocopy of Electricity Bill of Business Premises
  • Original bank maintenance certificate in the name of Firm.
Documents Required for Private Limited Company
  • Request application by proposed member on Company letterhead to the Secretary General Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) for grant of LCCI membership Registration.
  • Complete membership form, duly verified by two valid LCCI existing members whose representative is different from each other and the proposed applicant business.
  • Copy of Incorporation Certificate issued by SECP
  • Copy of Memorandum of Association
  • Copy of Articles of Association
  • Copy of Form –II
  • Photocopy of Identity Card directors/Proposed members.
  • Photocopy of NTN certificate of Company.
  • Photocopy of STRN certificate (if applicable).
  • Photocopy of Electricity Bill of Business Premises
  • Original bank maintenance certificate in the name of Company

Renewal of Membership

The membership is required to be renewed on annual basis.

Cancellation of Membership

LCCI has right to cancel the Membership or disqualify the members on the grounds as enshrined under the Trade Organization’s memorandum and articles of association, if the member breaches any provision of the Trade Organization Ordinance, 2007.
